Senior Manager, Global Procurement (Materials)

About the role

Quince seeks a Senior Manager to lead global raw material procurement, driving cost structures, savings and supply continuity across textile and related commodities. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will shape a competitive costing environment and align material sourcing with innovation and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a monitoring framework for global market shifts, raw material price fluctuations, currency risks and macro‑material trends, delivering actionable intelligence to leadership.
• Build and operationalise live tracking systems for key material prices, currency movements and supply risks to proactively surface threats and opportunities.
• Construct material‑specific clean sheets to lock in baseline component costs and provide the costing foundation for Tier‑1 negotiations.
• Map and design an upstream network strategy to consolidate raw‑material volumes, reduce supply‑chain complexity and increase direct‑to‑mill buying power.
• Design and execute RFPs for yarn spinners, mills, tanneries and textile mills, managing the full bidding process from outreach to award.
• Identify and execute supply‑chain reshaping opportunities, including verticalisation and commodity trading to create new financial value.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in raw‑material sourcing, commodity procurement or upstream supply‑chain management.
• Deep knowledge of textile raw materials such as yarns, fibers, fabrics, leather and related commodities.
• Proven track record negotiating directly with mills, tanneries, yarn spinners and raw‑material vendors.
• Familiarity with commodity hedging frameworks and global market indices.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, comfortable with large data sets.
• Technical aptitude for leveraging AI‑powered platforms (e.g., large language models) to conduct scenario analysis and automate procurement tasks.
• Experience building and executing material‑specific clean sheets.
• Ability to design upstream supply‑chain network and consolidation strategies.
