Senior Mobile Engineer (Android & iOS) – Remote

About the role

Mode Mobile is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer (Android & iOS) to join one of our cross‑functional pods (Emerging Apps) and build great software that users love. You will initially join the team behind our Cleaner apps, with the flexibility to move across our portfolio of apps as business priorities evolve.

Key responsibilities

• Experiment with solutions, build high‑quality software on Android and iOS, and measure results.
• Use agentic AI coding tools daily to accelerate development while ensuring quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, marketing, operations, and stakeholders to define and execute the roadmap.
• Publish and maintain apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store, including release management and store compliance.
• Write maintainable, well‑tested code and champion automated testing across both platforms.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience delivering native Android and iOS applications.
• Expertise in Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Dagger/Hilt, Retrofit, Room) and iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, Combine, Core Data).
• Proficiency with agentic AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and strong judgment to verify AI‑generated output.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of independent delivery while working cross‑functionally.
• Passion for technology and staying up‑to‑date with the latest advancements.
