Senior Programme Management Assistant (Temporary)

About the role

The Technology Bank for the Least Developed Countries is seeking a Senior Programme Management Assistant on a temporary basis. Based in Gebze, the incumbent will join the Project Management Team and report to the Economic Affairs Officer (P4). The role provides comprehensive programme and project management support for large, complex initiatives that advance science, technology and innovation in least‑developed countries.

Key responsibilities

• Independently deliver the full range of programme and project management assistance across all phases of the cycle for major departmental initiatives.
• Research, compile, analyse and present data on programmes, projects, science, technology and innovation, highlighting key trends and issues.
• Monitor resolutions and legislative decisions that affect programme content and maintain databases to reflect legislative changes.
• Review, appraise and revise programme and project submissions, ensure compliance with guidelines, identify problems and prepare concise summaries with recommendations.
• Collaborate with partners and funding agencies to support programme implementation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in programme and project management, preferably in an international or UN‑related environment.
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Ability to work independently under delegated authority and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with tracking legislative and policy developments relevant to programme implementation.
• Excellent written communication skills for preparing reports and briefing notes.
