Senior Software Developer

About the role

ASEE Turkey is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Banking Business Unit development team. The role involves leading the creation of new software products and enhancements, with the possibility of taking technical leadership for specific products.

Key responsibilities

• Determine high‑level functional and technical requirements in collaboration with the user community and enterprise architecture.
• Design software, hardware, and communication architectures to meet current and future cross‑functional needs.
• Collaborate with product owners and project managers to plan schedules, technical direction, and standards.
• Perform quality‑assurance reviews and evaluate existing and new software products.
• Develop high‑level system design diagrams and implement moderate to complex web‑based applications.
• Mentor mid‑level and junior developers.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience designing and developing complex software products using Java technologies (Java EE/Jakarta EE).
• Strong technical design, troubleshooting, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with graph databases.
• Experience in database design and development with Oracle, PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework or other modern Java back‑end frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
