Senior Supplier Account Manager

About the role

GE Aerospace is hiring a Senior Supplier Account Manager in Turkey. The role covers supplier engagement for existing orders within a commodity, including LTA execution plans, non-LTA negotiations, deal reviews and daily triage of supplier issues. It requires on-site presence in Eskisehir and Istanbul and travel of up to 25%. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier selection, proposals, quotes, quote analysis, negotiation, business approvals, supply award and contract authoring for parts outside long-term agreements
• Own supplier order health for assigned accounts and lead projects on part procurement and technical changes
• Maintain market awareness of key business drivers and help design contractual solutions that improve total cost of ownership
• Partner with the supplier team and procurement operations to meet compliance requirements
• Triage supplier questions, issues and requests, and coach colleagues with less experience
• Handle sensitive issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university or college
• 7+ years of experience in commercial operations, sourcing/procurement, supplier relationship management, sales, supply chain or contract management
• Preferred: experience negotiating contracts with external suppliers, building strong internal and external relationships, and leading programs and projects
• Flexibility to travel frequently and work on-site in Eskisehir and Istanbul
