About the role

A partner company is looking for a Senior Technical Trainer based in Turkey to teach practical, hands-on courses on AI-powered engineering workflows. The trainer helps engineers apply AI agents, coding assistants and modern AI tools to real infrastructure and automation challenges. The position is remote and freelance, starting with a paid course project of about three months, with possible ongoing projects or a full-time role.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop technical courses, working with the curriculum team on structure, learning objectives, lesson sequences and practical lab exercises
• Create video scripts and narrate lessons in English, using AI tools where helpful
• Develop detailed specifications for hands-on labs, test them, and record demonstrations and walkthroughs
• Collaborate with curriculum and production teams, incorporating editorial feedback and taking part in weekly syncs via tools such as Slack

Required profile

• Hands-on DevOps and infrastructure experience, with a proven passion for teaching
• Experience using AI tools in engineering work, including AI agents, coding assistants and LLM-based automation
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong storytelling and empathy for learners
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and work remotely with a distributed team
• Advantages: previously published online courses, conference speaking, community roles (e.g. CNCF Ambassador, AWS Community Builder, Microsoft MVP), or Kubernetes and cloud certifications

Required skills

• Linux, containers, Kubernetes, at least one major cloud platform, CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Building, operating and maintaining infrastructure, not just theory

What we offer

• Fixed fee per course agreed upfront, with higher pay for advanced topics
• Fully remote work with flexible hours and no fixed weekly-hour requirement
• Paid freelance project alongside an existing job, with potential to progress to a full-time role
• Dedicated production support for video editing, animation, lab infrastructure and publishing
