Senior Technical Trainer - Machine Learning

About the role

A partner company is looking for a Senior Technical Trainer focused on Machine Learning, based in Turkey. This is a remote freelance role where a hands-on ML practitioner designs and delivers engaging technical courses for engineers, helping them move from core concepts to training and evaluating their own models through practical, lab-based learning. The initial paid course project lasts around three months and can be done alongside existing commitments; flexible hours and an agreed delivery plan may lead to further projects or a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the curriculum team to define course structure, sections, lessons, practical labs and notebooks
• Write detailed lab specifications for the lab development team and test the finished environments
• Write short, story-driven video scripts of about six minutes each
• Narrate lessons in English and record demonstrations and lab walkthroughs
• Build course material grounded in real experience with training, evaluating and deploying ML models
• Refine content through structured reviews and editorial feedback
• Work remotely with curriculum and production teams via weekly syncs and Slack, with time-zone overlap with Europe and Asia

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to train, evaluate and ship models with scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Strong technical communication and excellent written and spoken English
• Passion for teaching and comfort presenting technical material on camera
• Openness to feedback and willingness to follow an established teaching methodology
• Preferred: experience publishing courses on Udemy, Pluralsight or Coursera, writing a technical book or teaching at a university/bootcamp, and cloud ML certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks)

What we offer

• Fixed fee per course agreed upfront, paid on completion
• Remote work with no fixed weekly hours and a defined three-month project scope
• Potential for more projects or a full-time opportunity within a trainer network
• Production team handles video editing, animation, lab infrastructure and publishing
