Site Reliability Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead our SRE team within the Technology/Infrastructure Department of n11, a leading e‑commerce marketplace. You will shape reliability practices, drive automation, and ensure high performance and stability of our large‑scale services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce SRE best practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and operational excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing Site Reliability Engineering team.
• Set the technical roadmap and prioritize operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Security, and Product teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure components, reusable libraries, and test data pipelines.
• Monitor metrics, manage alerts, and continuously improve performance, scalability, and stability.
• Oversee infrastructure lifecycle: provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and alerting.
• Lead production incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem processes.
• Recommend performance enhancements and practical alternative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or DevOps, including at least 2 years in a people‑management role.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of coaching and developing technical teams.
• Deep understanding of large‑scale distributed systems and operational excellence.
