Social Media Manager – Crypto Platform (X)

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to become the voice of a fast‑growing crypto platform on X. The role will shape the brand’s presence within Crypto Twitter, monitoring trends and creating engaging content that resonates with the community.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor X trends, conversations, memes, breaking news and competitor activity to spot timely content opportunities.
• Build and maintain an active presence in the Crypto Twitter community through strategic replies and engagement.
• Develop relationships with influencers, creators, brands and users across the crypto ecosystem.
• Create and publish social copy, memes and other creative formats that communicate product value and brand voice.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate launches and campaigns into compelling X content.
• Stay highly responsive to fast‑moving conversations, adapting working hours when needed to capitalize on key moments.
• Contribute ideas to broader marketing initiatives and help refine the brand’s tone and strategy based on community feedback.

Required profile

• Deep immersion in crypto culture and familiarity with Crypto Twitter language.
• Social‑native professional who thrives in a fast‑moving environment and can act quickly when the feed demands it.
• Strong creative ownership and ability to define how a crypto product participates in conversation.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of social media platforms, formats and community‑building principles.
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain and Crypto Twitter culture.
• Proven experience building or managing a social media following on X.
• Excellent social copywriting skills and ability to create concise, entertaining, culturally relevant content.
• Experience creating memes and understanding the humor, references and conventions that perform well in online crypto communities.
