Software Engineer, Backend (New Grad)

About the role

We are seeking a new‑graduate Software Engineer focused on backend development for our gaming platform. You will design and build core systems that connect server‑side logic with the player experience for millions of monthly active users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, low‑latency backend services that deliver core game features.
• Manage APIs and tools required to support new game and platform functionality.
• Maintain and enhance the existing code base using best software‑engineering practices.
• Brainstorm new ideas with the team to continuously improve the user experience.
• Monitor system performance and implement features in collaboration with players.
• Secure and improve game performance, reliability, and security.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Strong command of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot and backend system development.
• Knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases.
• Familiarity with Memcache, Redis, Elasticsearch and Docker is a plus.
• Understanding of software architecture, OOP and design patterns.
• Meticulous attention to detail and passion for high‑quality code.
