Software Engineer (Native SDKs)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to work on our native iOS and Android SDKs that power Stories integration for major sports and media brands. The role is fully remote within Turkey and is offered on a full‑time contractor basis, allowing you to build features that are used by millions of end users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new SDK features end‑to‑end, from problem definition to testing and refinement.
• Improve performance, reliability, and developer ergonomics of the iOS and Android SDKs.
• Debug complex integration issues using logs, diagnostics and systematic hypotheses.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to understand real customer use‑cases and constraints.
• Enhance documentation, code examples and integration guides, often leveraging AI to draft content.
• Identify friction points for integrators and propose pragmatic solutions to streamline the “first story live” experience.

Required profile

• Proactive mindset: takes initiative, spots opportunities and moves ideas forward.
• Comfortable using AI tools to scaffold, refactor and accelerate development.
• Focus on problem solving, outcomes and simplicity rather than over‑engineering.
• Owns work end‑to‑end without direct people‑management responsibilities.

Required skills

• iOS SDK development (Swift/Objective‑C).
• Android SDK development (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools.
• Strong debugging and performance‑tuning abilities.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and code examples.
