Software Engineering Manager

About the role

Yapı Kredi Technology is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing development team. You will be responsible for guiding engineers, ensuring agile best practices, and delivering innovative finance‑sector solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support and mentor team members through knowledge sharing and balanced workload distribution.
• Prioritize, monitor, and manage project outcomes with detailed planning and sound decision‑making.
• Review and adjust project and epic work plans to meet evolving requirements.
• Analyze and improve existing workflows for greater efficiency.
• Guide engineers in selecting appropriate technical solutions, coding techniques, and tools.
• Ensure consistent application of Scrum and Agile development practices across the team.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, professional development, and performance coaching.
• Align team work with company values, mission, goals, and engineering priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Over 10 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in team management.
• Strong expertise in the software development life cycle and industry best practices.
• Excellent listening, coaching, and influencing abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with agile project management and strong analytical thinking.
• Highly motivated, result‑oriented, and proactive in learning new technologies.
• Effective problem‑solving and conflict‑management skills.
