Sous Chef, Chef de Partie & Demi Chef de Partie – Istanbul

About the role

7 Mehmet is expanding its culinary legacy in Istanbul and is building a new kitchen team at Tersane Istanbul. We are looking for experienced Sous Chefs, Chefs de Partie and Demi Chefs de Partie who can uphold our Turkish, Anatolian and Mediterranean culinary identity while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily preparation, production and service operations according to established standards.
• Maintain accurate mise en place and ensure timely completion of all prep tasks.
• Follow recipes, portioning, cooking and plating guidelines consistently.
• Support coordination between kitchen sections and collaborate with front‑of‑house staff.
• Comply with hygiene, food safety and occupational health regulations.
• For Sous Chefs: organise workflow, lead the team during peak periods, mentor staff and contribute to menu development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in Turkish, Anatolian or Mediterranean cuisine.
• Strong understanding of 7 Mehmet’s culinary culture and commitment to craftsmanship.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain discipline and ensure operational continuity.
• Leadership qualities for Sous Chef candidates and a collaborative mindset for all levels.
