Staff RFIC Design Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Staff RFIC Design Engineer to join its RF Semiconductors team in Istanbul. The role focuses on developing advanced RF components such as beamformers, mixers, detectors, and amplifiers for a variety of markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design integrated circuits at the transistor level for RF blocks across multiple process and packaging technologies.
• Lead technical problem‑solving on high‑impact projects, defining approaches, trade‑offs, and success criteria.
• Conduct silicon bring‑up, first‑silicon characterization, root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective iterations.
• Provide clear technical communication and documentation to align cross‑functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers, offering coaching and technical direction.

Required profile

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering (PhD preferred) with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of S‑parameters, transmission‑line theory, and RF networks.
• Proven ability to innovate, simulate, and verify circuit performance at transistor and architectural levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across the organization.

Required skills

• RFIC circuit design using Cadence and ADSS tools.
• Electromagnetic simulation with EMPro and/or HFSS.
• IC tape‑out experience.
• RF test equipment and characterization (preferred).
