Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The Supply Chain Associate will support the National Supply Chain Officer in Ankara and report directly to the Senior Supply Chain Associate in Gaziantep. The role focuses on procurement, logistics and asset management activities to ensure the efficient delivery of goods and services for IOM operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation and purchase order issuance.
• Manage logistics operations, overseeing the movement, storage and distribution of assets.
• Maintain accurate asset registers and support asset lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with IOM/UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on procurement and logistics activities.
• Collaborate with national and international partners to meet resource requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or a high‑school diploma with five years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics and vendor management.
• Familiarity with asset management processes.
• Knowledge of IOM/UN procurement and logistics regulations is an advantage.
• Experience working in an international organization is a plus.
