Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support procurement, logistics and asset management activities at its Gaziantep office. Working under the National Supply Chain Officer in Ankara and the Senior Supply Chain Associate locally, you will ensure smooth acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with IOM procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and consolidate procurement requisitions in line with the Purchase Authorisation Matrix.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids, conduct bid analysis and support supplier selection.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts and coordinate authorisations for approved purchases.
• Monitor open requisitions, track deliveries, verify delivery notes and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Maintain physical and electronic procurement records and generate periodic reports.
• Conduct market surveys, evaluate new suppliers and monitor contractual agreements.
• Manage office supplies, utilities invoices and coordinate fleet operations.
• Provide guidance and training to junior SCM staff and support asset, warehousing and transportation tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, OR a high‑school diploma with five years of experience.
• Relevant professional experience in procurement and logistics.
• Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
