System & Operational Security Specialist

About the role

The company, a leading software and technology services provider in Turkey, seeks a System and Operational Security Specialist to strengthen its technological infrastructure. You will work closely with IT and security teams to ensure systems are hardened, compliant, and resilient against threats.

Key responsibilities

• Implement security hardening configurations on Windows and Linux servers, as well as enterprise applications.
• Monitor and manage endpoint protection tools such as Antivirus and EDR, and support investigations of spam, phishing, and malware incidents.
• Administer user lifecycle processes in Active Directory and Azure AD, and maintain privileged account reports.
• Perform administrative and security tasks across Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Assist with ISO 27001, KVKK (GDPR) compliance activities and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on work with Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms and security principles, plus familiarity with ISO 27001 and KVKK regulations.
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent technical certifications are highly preferred.
