Vessel Operator - LPG

About the role

Adenac Shipmanagement Ltd., an Athens-based maritime company focused on vessel ownership, asset management and the operation of high-specification vessels, is looking for an experienced Vessel Operator for its LPG fleet. The position is based in Kozyatağı, Istanbul, and is full-time and on-site. It covers the day-to-day operational follow-up of LPG vessels from the Owners' side, working closely with Masters, Charterers, Agents, Terminals and internal Technical and Marine teams.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up the day-to-day operations of assigned LPG vessels
• Coordinate and communicate between vessels, Charterers, Agents and Terminals
• Monitor vessel schedules, port calls, cargo operations and voyage progress
• Follow Charter Party operational requirements and Owners' obligations
• Monitor vessel performance, delays, off-hire events and other operational matters
• Review operational correspondence and follow up outstanding matters
• Support Masters in resolving operational issues and coordinate with stakeholders
• Monitor operational costs and identify potential delays or inefficiencies
• Maintain accurate operational records and report to management
• Work with the Technical, Marine and Commercial teams on matters affecting vessel operations

Required profile

• Previous shore-based experience in LPG/gas carrier operations strongly preferred
• Previous experience as a Vessel Operator, Marine Operator or in a similar ship operations role
• Good understanding of LPG carrier operations and Charter Party requirements
• Familiarity with cargo operations, terminals, port calls and vessel performance monitoring
• Previous seagoing experience on LPG/gas carriers is a strong advantage
• Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Transportation, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Logistics or a related field preferred

• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant maritime operational systems
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple vessels and operational matters independently under time pressure
