About the role
Cecconi's at Soho House Istanbul is looking for a waiter who can handle several requests at once, work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and speak English fluently.
Key responsibilities
- Tell guests about the special items of the day and menu changes, suggest food and drinks and try to upsell
- Take orders on order pads, repeat them back to guests and enter them into the Micros system
- Mise-en-place, follow duty-checklists and perform basic cleaning when asked
- Fill in for absent staff and help other parts of the restaurant
- Answer guest queries, coordinate with bar and kitchen and respond promptly to extra requests
- Follow grooming standards, know allergy procedures and tasting notes, and know the cash-out and handover procedures
Required profile
- Ability to work under pressure while coordinating many requests
- Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
- Fluent spoken and written English
Required skills
- POS device knowledge
- Micros system
