Warehouse Management Partner

About the role

The Warehouse Management Partner will oversee the end‑to‑end operation of Roche’s third‑party logistics (3PL) warehouse, ensuring that all activities comply with pharmaceutical and healthcare standards. Acting as the main liaison between the outsourced warehouse provider and Roche’s headquarters, the role guarantees timely order fulfilment, accurate inventory, and strict adherence to GMP/GDP and cold‑chain requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily 3PL activities, monitor process accuracy and performance, and proactively address potential disruptions.
• Manage order execution, route planning for tender and hospital shipments, and coordinate delivery appointments.
• Perform physical checks of incoming finished goods, record all inbound, transfer and outbound movements in SAP, and ensure timely data entry.
• Conduct continuous inventory controls, organise monthly physical stock counts, reconcile results with SAP and maintain official documentation.
• Oversee disposal of quarantined or rejected products, accompany authorities during inspections and execute SAP outbound entries.
• Guarantee full GMP and GDP compliance across warehouse and distribution operations, including preparation of deactivation files and ITS notifications.
• Handle cold‑chain consumables, forward dataloggers to Quality Control and manage cost‑effective use of styrofoam boxes and ice packs.
• Process market returns according to quality instructions and forward any drug‑side‑effect information to Pharmacovigilance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing 3PL warehouse operations within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP and cold‑chain regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to act as the bridge between the 3PL partner and internal teams.
• Ability to analyse performance data and propose workflow optimisations.
