Working Student - Compliance Function Team

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for a motivated Working Student to join its Compliance Function team in Kartal. The student works closely with the Compliance Officer and supports daily compliance activities, gaining hands-on experience in Anti-Corruption, Data Privacy and Export Control.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance activities such as background research, compliance screening, risk identification and preparation of initial assessment summaries.
• Research compliance matters, regulatory developments and risks across jurisdictions and summarise the findings.
• Support Data Privacy activities, including research on KVKK and Turkish data protection requirements, preparation or revision of privacy documentation and follow-up of ongoing matters.
• Help organise compliance trainings, awareness campaigns, presentations and internal communications.
• Assist with compliance monitoring, internal reporting, audit preparation and implementation of compliance requirements.
• Support the preparation, review and translation of compliance policies, guidelines and other materials.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and support ongoing compliance topics and daily activities.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student or Master's student, preferably in Law, International Trade or Business Administration.
• Interest in compliance, anti-corruption, data privacy, anti-money laundering, anti-trust and human rights.
• Availability to work at least 2.5-3 days per week in Kartal.
• Previous internship or working student experience in compliance, legal or a multinational company, and knowledge of Turkish Data Privacy Law, are an asset.
