Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Financial Reporting Analyst will support the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of Standard Chartered, collaborating with internal stakeholders across diverse business lines. This position provides broad exposure to end‑to‑end finance processes within a dynamic, highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit mandatory regulatory reports to authorities such as BRSA, CBOT, TBB and TUIK in strict alignment with current regulations.
• Design and implement control procedures to safeguard the validity and integrity of financial data through daily checks.
• Act as primary liaison with internal auditors, providing required information and documentation for audit processes.
• Maintain robust ledger controls to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial transactions and balances.
• Prepare taxes, declarations and e‑legal books in compliance with local and international requirements.
• Manage the accounts payable workflow, coordinating vendor management activities to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing.
• Oversee third‑party invoice follow‑ups via the e‑invoice portal, process accounting entries, secure internal approvals and expedite payments.
• Build and maintain an effective audit trail to enable transparent verification of accounting records.
• Support the annual preparation of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) report.
• Deliver accurate and timely Management Information System (MIS) reports to functional teams.
• Provide cross‑functional cover within the Finance team as business needs arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in finance or accounting roles.
