Manufacturing Shift Leader

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Leader for its Adana plant. The leader will supervise frontline employees across production, cleaning, maintenance and related activities, ensuring safe, efficient and on‑time delivery of products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage plant resources effectively and align planning with production schedules.
• Operate production lines according to best practices while guiding frontline staff.
• Observe lines, equipment and employees during the shift and provide real‑time direction.
• Prepare work schedules, track working hours and rest periods.
• Ensure production complies with Food Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Track team KPIs and drive continuous performance improvement.
• Monitor employee performance, give feedback and support development.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review results and keep staff informed.
• Plan and implement annual leave and support effective communication between teams.
• Assist relevant departments during new product trials.
• Identify maintenance and repair needs and coordinate support.
• Ensure activities follow GEHSMS, ISO 14001 and food‑safety procedures.
• Take responsibility for the plant area outside daytime hours when no manager is present.
• Onboard new frontline employees and support machine‑operation training.
• Lead hourly and 4‑hour QCDM meetings to support lean manufacturing.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and motivate frontline manufacturing teams.
• Strong performance‑monitoring and feedback skills.
• Effective communication across shifts and departments.
• Capability to plan schedules, manage resources and handle leave administration.
• Commitment to safety, environmental and food‑safety standards.
• Readiness to act as point of contact when no manager is present.
