React Native Developer

About the role

BGTS is looking for a React Native Developer to create high‑performance cross‑platform applications, with a focus on video streaming and OTT experiences for Smart TV platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain reusable React Native applications for Android TV, Apple TV, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS.
• Develop, optimise and scale video‑streaming/media apps for OTT platforms.
• Manage application state using Redux, React Hooks and the Context API.
• Ensure high code quality and automation with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience with React Native.
• Experience building apps for Android TV, Apple TV (tvOS), Samsung Tizen or LG webOS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with Node.js and the JavaScript ecosystem (npm, Yarn, Metro, Babel).
• Experience with REST APIs and Git.
• Familiarity with modern state‑management patterns.
• Strong debugging, performance optimisation and problem‑solving skills.
