Reception Agent – Front Desk Hospitality Role

About the role

As a Reception Agent you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome, smooth check‑in and check‑out, and a memorable stay. You will work in a fast‑paced hotel environment, representing the brand and delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and bid farewell to guests in line with hotel standards.
• Accurately perform check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and special requirements, coordinating with relevant departments.
• Monitor guest accounts, process payments and keep front‑office records up to date.
• Provide information on hotel services, facilities and local attractions.
• Manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries and route calls appropriately.
• Assist with VIP arrivals, group check‑ins and special events.
• Complete shift handovers and communicate operational updates.
• Promote hotel facilities and identify up‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Service‑oriented mindset with a professional approach.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in front‑office operations, preferably in an international chain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse guests.
• Problem‑solving, decision‑making and crisis‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
• Team player with a detail‑oriented, organized work style.
• Well‑presented, professional appearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS (hotel property management system).
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
