Senior Python Engineer

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to design, develop, and operate high‑performance backend systems for international projects. You will work in a fast‑paced technology environment, collaborating with product, frontend, data, and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, production‑grade APIs and backend services using modern Python frameworks.
• Build, test, and deploy applications on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Maintain and optimise relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and ensure query performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, containerisation with Docker, and cloud‑native architectures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience building and operating backend systems.
• Strong expertise in Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, clean code, and testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container technologies.
• Professional proficiency in English and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
