Software Engineer - Android

About the role

We are seeking an Android Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, production‑grade Android applications using modern development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android apps with Java and Kotlin, following MVVM or Clean Architecture patterns.
• Implement complex, high‑impact features while ensuring performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold code quality standards.
• Debug, profile, and resolve production issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, and other engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and app‑store delivery activities.
• Stay current with Android platform updates, libraries, and ecosystem changes.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience in Android application development.
• Advanced knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK.
• Solid understanding of Android lifecycle, navigation, background processing, permissions, and performance optimization.
• Experience with asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow) and dependency injection (Hilt or Dagger).
• Proficiency with Git, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and take ownership of features.
