Key Account Manager – Specialty Chemicals & Water Treatment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to drive growth and strengthen relationships with industrial customers in Turkey. You will act as the main point of contact for strategic accounts, delivering tailored water‑treatment and chemical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic customer accounts across assigned territories.
• Develop long‑term partnerships with industrial customers and key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within existing and prospective accounts.
• Achieve sales revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Support customers with consultative solutions for water‑treatment challenges.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, and customer support teams to ensure high service quality.
• Conduct market analysis, monitor competitor activities, and identify emerging opportunities.
• Support the introduction of new technologies and solutions to the market.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business development plans for management review.
• Coordinate with channel partners and distributors to maximize regional performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in water treatment, industrial chemicals, utility water, wastewater treatment, or closely related industries.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing key customer relationships.
• Ability to engage with both technical and procurement stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel regularly and a valid driver’s license.
