Business Developer

About the role

The Business Developer is responsible for selling the services of the entity, managing a portfolio of 20‑50 clients, and promoting cross‑selling opportunities within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Understand local business needs and sell the entity’s services.
• Manage 20‑50 clients, including prospects, local accounts and key accounts.
• Prioritize the most promising clients and promote packaged services with limited customization.
• Contribute to proposal preparation and collect client satisfaction feedback.
• Encourage cross‑selling within the operating group and report to M&S Operations Management.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the first‑line manager and comply with corporate standards.

Required profile

• Strong teamwork and ability to handle people and situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety, ethics and financial control standards.
• Focus on sales targets, market share and quantity of client visits.
• Manage opportunity funnels, cross‑selling generation and quality of sales.
• Respect deadlines, budgets and avoid financial or legal penalties.
• Collaborate closely with the chief accountant during the closing process.
