Mechanical Technician – Istanbul Bomonti Hotel

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will support the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center by designing, building, installing and servicing mechanical equipment to ensure an excellent guest experience. You will work closely with the engineering team and external suppliers to maintain high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and troubleshoot machinery and equipment using mechanical engineering technology.
• Fabricate, assemble and modify mechanical components or assemblies.
• Set up and conduct tests on complete units and components, recording procedures, results and recommendations.
• Design, build, install and service mechanical machinery, components and tools.
• Carry out quality inspections in line with company standards.
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers.
• Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Accredited diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (MYK preferred).
• Positive, solution‑oriented attitude with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to delivering high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Previous experience in a similar mechanical technician role.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, detail‑oriented and reliable.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Basic knowledge of Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
