Mechanical Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our facilities team in Istanbul. You will be the first point of contact for guest repair requests and will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve guest maintenance requests promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of kitchen, mechanical room and other equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment and machines visually and report any issues.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and requisition as needed.
• Carry out minor painting, drywall, wood‑trim repairs and complete clean‑up of work areas.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration, electrical components, plumbing fixtures and other guestroom items.
• Program televisions, replace light bulbs, AC filters and perform basic housekeeping inventory duties.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry and finish work.
• Ability to follow safety, security and company policies.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills with guests and team members.
