OTC Specialist – Order Processing & Logistics (Hybrid)

About the role

The OTC Specialist will manage order processing for all transaction types, ensuring accurate order confirmations and timely communication with customers. This hybrid position combines office work with occasional on‑site activities, supporting BASF's logistics and supply chain operations in Turkey.

Key responsibilities

• Process orders and issue order confirmations for customers.
• Monitor order backlog, proactively update customers on order and shipment status.
• Prepare and organise required licences and registration documents to release orders.
• Track transport phases, coordinate with local carrier agencies, and keep customers informed.
• Handle documentation, manage corrections, and post documents to customers or banks according to payment terms.
• Process non‑conformances in agreement with sales departments.
• Maintain regular information exchange with sales teams and file all relevant documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English and Turkish.
