Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure and GitLab (DXOne) environments that enable large‑scale migration projects. You will work on re‑platforming, refactoring, and re‑architecting initiatives, ensuring robust, secure, and automated cloud operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure AWS infrastructure to support migration projects.
• Create and configure virtual machines following best‑practice guidelines.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Apply core AWS security best practices, including security groups and IAM roles.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment tasks with PowerShell and Python scripts.
• Support migration efforts across re‑platform, refactor, and re‑architect scenarios.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS DevOps, infrastructure setup, and CI/CD development.
• Strong proficiency with Git, GitLab, and Jenkins for source control and pipeline automation.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.
• Solid understanding of AWS security, including security groups and IAM roles.
• Excellent scripting skills in PowerShell and Python.
• Professional English proficiency (B2+).
