Staff Cafeteria Commis I – Kitchen Support

About the role

The Staff Cafeteria Commis I provides essential kitchen support across hotel food‑and‑beverage areas. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will help keep dining spaces clean, well‑stocked and ready for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare fresh linen and dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines and hand‑wash stations.
• Transport dishware and supplies throughout the hotel.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report maintenance needs, accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
• Support the team in achieving quality and service standards.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting objects up to 25 lb.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and lift up to 25 lb unaided.
