Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in Istanbul. This position follows a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to questions regarding fluctuations and accounting records during month‑end closings, review accounts through trial balance, coordinate with stakeholders and record required accruals while maintaining effective communication.
• Coordinate and share SAP‑recorded sales, purchasing, fixed‑asset documents and accruals with accounting teams, and maintain company accounting and finance documentation.
• Share bank transactions with accounting teams, review related accounting records, and verify SAP records of accounts payable and fixed‑asset invoices.
• Review SAP records of accounts receivable sales invoices and provide SAP account statements required for VAT, withholding tax, provisional tax and corporate tax returns.
• Manage processes during internal, external or public audits.

Required profile

• Graduate from a relevant university department, preferably Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences or Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Hands‑on experience actively using SAP for accounting and finance transactions.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, proactive and team‑oriented mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional proficiency in Turkish and English.
