Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The role focuses on managing daily accounting transactions, electronic invoicing processes, and import‑export accounting in compliance with Turkish regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting entries accurately, adhering to local regulations and company policies.
• Oversee end‑to‑end E‑Invoice, E‑Archive, and E‑Ledger processes.
• Maintain and reconcile accounting records for import and export transactions.
• Support month‑end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
• Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
• Assist in financial reporting and accounting analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts (Tek Düzen Hesap Planı).
• Proven experience with electronic invoicing, archiving, and ledger processes.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• CPA certification (SMMM) is an asset.
