Accounting Specialist

About the role

Orbia Advance Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to ensure accurate daily accounting transactions and compliance with local regulations. The role supports month‑end closing, audit preparation, and financial reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions in line with company policies and Turkish regulations.
• Monitor and control general accounting processes.
• Manage end‑to‑end E‑Invoice (E‑Fatura), E‑Archive (E‑Arşiv) and E‑Ledger (E‑Defter) processes.
• Maintain and follow up on accounting records for import and export transactions.
• Support month‑end closing activities and perform account reconciliations.
• Prepare reports and documentation required for internal and external audits.
• Assist with financial reporting and accounting analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in General Accounting.
• Working knowledge of the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts (Tek Düzen Hesap Planı).
• Proven experience managing E‑Invoice, E‑Archive and E‑Ledger processes end‑to‑end.
• Strong knowledge of import and export accounting processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• CPA certification (SMMM) is considered an asset.
