Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Accounting Specialist will ensure daily accounting transactions are accurately recorded in line with local regulations and company policies. This role monitors general accounting processes, manages e‑invoice, e‑archive and e‑ledger workflows, and supports month‑end closing and audit preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately record daily accounting transactions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and control general accounting processes.
• Manage E‑Invoice, E‑Archive, and E‑Ledger processes end‑to‑end.
• Maintain accounting records for import and export transactions.
• Support month‑end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in General Accounting with knowledge of the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Proven experience managing E‑Invoice, E‑Archive, and E‑Ledger processes.
• Strong knowledge of import and export accounting processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• CPA certification (SMMM) is considered an asset.
