Accounting & Tax Specialist

About the role

Join a fast‑growing fintech leader in Turkey as an Accounting & Tax Specialist. You will ensure accurate bookkeeping, tax compliance, and support month‑end closing while collaborating with internal teams and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping (receivables, payables, bank transactions) in line with Turkish GAAP, tax and R&D legislation.
• Reconcile accounts with clients, vendors and banks.
• Prepare tax declaration forms including VAT, withholding tax, stamp duty and corporate income tax.
• Utilise e‑archive, e‑invoice and e‑ledger portals for reporting.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and the preparation of financial statements.
• Support internal and external audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of SAP Hana.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
