Air Freight Sales Executive

About the role

Manuport Logistics is seeking an Air Freight Sales Executive to drive growth of its air freight business in Turkey. Based at the Istanbul headquarters, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of existing and potential customers aligned with the company’s air freight growth strategy.
• Identify and acquire new customers to meet sales targets.
• Build long‑term relationships by understanding logistics needs and offering customized air freight solutions.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals in coordination with pricing and operations teams.
• Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to generate new business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to uncover commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with Air Freight Operations and Pricing teams to ensure competitive, high‑quality offers.
• Track sales performance and manage the pipeline against individual and departmental goals.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in air freight sales, preferably within a freight forwarding or logistics company.
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition and business development.
• Existing customer portfolio and strong network in the air freight market is a strong advantage.
• No military obligation for male candidates.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the air freight market, products and pricing structures.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
