Android Developer

About the role

Loodos is looking for an Android Developer to design and build high‑quality mobile applications used by millions of users. You will take an active part in technical decisions, ensure sustainable solutions, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production‑ready Android applications.
• Participate in architectural discussions and choose appropriate technologies.
• Identify and resolve issues early, continuously improving existing codebases.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to deliver features that meet user needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of Android development experience, including publishing on Google Play.
• Strong communication skills in Turkish and English (minimum B1).
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile practices.
• Proven ability to write clean, testable, high‑quality code.

Required skills

• Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Dagger/Hilt, Coroutines, RxJava, Retrofit.
• Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Lifecycle, etc.).
• MVVM or similar architecture and clean‑architecture principles.
• REST API integration and Android UI design best practices.
• Git, issue‑tracking tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
