Associate Manager Licensing Agencies & Retail – PEM

About the role

Mattel is seeking a commercially driven Associate Manager to lead its Consumer Products agency model across Turkey and South Africa. You will be responsible for agency performance, governance and development, ensuring they act as strategic extensions of Mattel and deliver sustainable royalty, revenue and brand growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the relationship with external Consumer Products agencies, set objectives, commercial targets and performance expectations.
• Lead regular business reviews, pipeline discussions and performance evaluations.
• Develop market‑specific Consumer Products plans, identify category whitespace and recruit high‑potential licensees and retailers.
• Own market forecasts, royalty and revenue delivery, partner pipelines and risk management.
• Collaborate with PEM Commercial Lead, Country Managers and cross‑functional teams to integrate priorities into broader market strategies.
• Lead Franchise Retail Marketing in Turkey and act as PEM Franchise Retail Marketing lead for the region, building retailer relationships and coordinating activation plans.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in consumer products, licensing, commercial sales or agency management.
• Proven experience managing external agencies or distributors across multiple territories.
• Strong knowledge of licensing processes, partner acquisition, negotiations, forecasting and contract governance.
• Excellent influencing, relationship‑management and communication skills across cultures.
• Fluency in Turkish and English.

• Gross annual salary range of TRY 2,680,000 – TRY 3,182,500.
