BI Data Analytics Lead

About the role

Standard Profil Group, a globally operating automotive supplier specializing in sealing systems, fluid handling solutions and thermal management products, is looking for a BI Data Analytics Lead. The role drives the enterprise-wide reporting strategy, shapes the future data platform architecture and unlocks AI-driven insights, working closely with business and IT stakeholders across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide reporting, dashboarding and analytics initiatives.
• Drive the transition from SAP BW/BW4HANA to SAP Datasphere and support the cloud analytics transformation.
• Design, develop and optimize executive dashboards and self-service reporting solutions.
• Manage and develop reporting environments using SAP BusinessObjects and Tableau.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions with business stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance, data quality, security and compliance across reporting platforms.
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources into centralized analytics environments.
• Support the development of a future-proof enterprise data architecture.
• Identify and implement AI and machine learning use cases, and promote Generative AI and analytics automation.
• Advise senior leadership on data, analytics and AI investments and improve reporting processes with internal and external teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Informatics or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics.
• Proven experience leading analytics and reporting initiatives in an international environment.
• Experience managing large-scale migration and transformation projects.

Required skills

• SAP BW/BW4HANA, including data modeling, ETL design and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and cloud-based data platforms.
• Expert knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects and Tableau.
• Understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data structures.
• Familiarity with modern AI and machine learning concepts; familiarity with Generative AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI or SAP Joule.
• SQL, SAP HANA and Python are highly desirable.
