Career Transition Coach

About the role

Workintech is seeking a full-time Career Transition Coach to join its Istanbul campus. You will guide aspiring software developers and data scientists through personalized coaching, job-search support, and employer introductions, helping them launch successful tech careers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career coaching sessions and group workshops focused on job-search strategies, interview preparation and networking.
• Track each student’s progress through a structured system, managing a high volume of requests and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Connect students with potential employers, arrange introductions and facilitate placement opportunities.
• Curate and tailor educational resources, lesson plans and meeting agendas to match individual graduate needs.
• Deliver constructive feedback to diverse candidates and present career-development content to larger audiences.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of recruiting experience, preferably within technology companies or recruitment/consulting firms.
• Background in counseling, coaching or account management; personal job-search experience is a plus.
• Highly organized, data-driven and able to manage multiple student pipelines simultaneously.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to give positive, actionable feedback.
• Familiarity with the software development landscape and current tech job market.
• High emotional intelligence, empathy and resilience under pressure.
