Cold Chain Warehouse Associate

About the role

The role focuses on monitoring and handling temperature‑sensitive materials in a warehouse environment to ensure product integrity throughout storage and shipment preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor temperature‑sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to preserve required conditions.
• Update warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control.
• Identify on‑hold, damaged, or non‑conforming materials and route them through defined handling procedures.
• Coordinate material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow.
• Prepare packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.
• Escalate non‑standard handling or inventory issues for timely follow‑up.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations processes (receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, shipping).
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability.
• Knowledge of temperature‑controlled handling and cold‑chain support requirements.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices.
• Knowledge of shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and use of warehouse equipment and tools.
• Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems.
• Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.
• Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.
• Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work with temperature‑sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
