Commercial Controller

About the role

Ferrero's controlling department acts as a business partner to its businesses, supporting decision making with analysis and guidance. It is looking for a Commercial Controller in Istanbul, reporting directly to the Commercial Controlling Manager and working in a team focused on strategic and financial questions with close ties to the businesses. The role suits someone who enjoys working with numbers, analysis and financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly simulation of monthly net sales for Turkey and the IPA region
• Prepare financial simulations for new pricing scenarios across forecasting periods
• Report budget vs. forecast variances to identify risks and opportunities
• Analyse and calculate ROI for investments before they run, aligned with sales and marketing teams, and track actual results against forecasts
• Provide periodic reports on pre- and post-performance of sales and marketing activities
• Control and approve purchase orders for conditions, discounts, price promotions, media, consumer promotions, market research, media production, agencies and other marketing purchases
• Support sales and marketing departments during monthly closing with analysis and data
• Deliver financial analysis for decisions on commercial projects
• Prepare, validate and publish internal and group reports on marketing and sales KPIs and financials, and support additional analysis
• Control and analyse product pricing and customer trade terms and agreements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• Preferably 5 years of proven experience
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with analytical thinking
• Proactive and strategic thinking
• Solid written and verbal English
