Commercial Development Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Development Team Lead to drive commercial effectiveness and sales intelligence across our global operations. In this strategic position you will partner with the commercial organization to translate business priorities into actionable insights and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Commercial Development team, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.
• Manage initiatives to improve commercial effectiveness, sales productivity and operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement process optimisations to remove inefficiencies and enhance execution.
• Develop analytical models and frameworks that support commercial decision‑making.
• Own the end‑to‑end commercial incentive management cycle.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual business performance reviews and management presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related analytical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, business analytics or related roles.
• Proven people leadership and team management experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial processes, sales performance management and business operations.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, and comfortable working in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Experience with incentive compensation management, KPI frameworks, target setting and forecasting.
• Strong data and analytical capabilities, including statistical analysis and analytical modelling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
