Community Manager

About the role

VML is seeking a Community Manager to own and grow its social media presence, primarily on Instagram. The role focuses on driving engagement, creating on‑ground content, and ensuring brand consistency across local markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage social media channels, moderate communities and publish organic content according to the approved calendar.
• Collaborate with the category director to finalize content calendars and coordinate publishing.
• Participate in creative briefs, generate community‑first concepts and draft captions.
• Monitor local conversations, trends and influencer activity to identify engagement opportunities.
• Engage with users in real time, maintain brand tone of voice and handle comments/DMs.
• Tag content in Sprinklr, produce regular community reports and work with social analysts to adjust strategies.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on community engagement experience.
• Proven ability to shoot on‑ground content and support activations.
• Strong cultural sensitivity and fluency in the native market language.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with insights, creative and media teams.
