Control Systems Engineer – Automotive (On‑site)

About the role

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join its innovative automotive engineering team in Bursa. You will work on the development of control systems for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles, focusing on Powertrain and HVAC functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements for automotive control systems.
• Define and maintain software and system requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and validate Powertrain and HVAC control functions.
• Support torque‑control strategy development and optimisation.
• Collaborate with software, calibration, testing, and system‑engineering teams.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Analyse system issues, perform root‑cause investigations, and support corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation and take part in design reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in automotive system engineering, with hands‑on work on BEV and/or ICE vehicles.
• Proven experience in system requirements engineering and requirements management.
• Knowledge of Powertrain systems and control, as well as HVAC control in automotive applications.
• Experience with torque‑control strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Good command of English.
