Country Financial Controller – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

This full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term position is responsible for the financial accounting, reporting, control, and statutory compliance of the Turkey legal entity. Reporting to the Finance Director and working in a hybrid environment, you will deliver accurate financial information to Group Finance and local stakeholders while ensuring compliance with Turkish regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting and reporting for the Turkey entity.
• Ensure timely and compliant completion of all local tax filings and statutory obligations.
• Review balance sheets, reconciliations, and cash‑flow positions to maintain financial accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, driving high reconciliation and documentation standards.
• Monitor and improve working‑capital performance by analysing key financial drivers and trends.
• Manage internal and external audit relationships, ensuring smooth and timely audit completion.
• Maintain compliance with local accounting, taxation, payroll, and regulatory requirements.
• Support Turkey and Group Finance objectives through additional finance‑related projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, controlling, audit or finance leadership.
• Understanding of Turkish processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in tax accounting and indirect tax matters.
• Strong people‑leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
